Trainer Information

Dressage trainer onsite, Lindsey Parker.  We have an open door policy and you are more than welcome to haul in for your lessons and training rides.  Boarding at Parker Stables is not a requirement for training. Lindsey offers partial and full training.

Lindsey started riding dressage in 2007 (to get out of the jumping world!) with her 6 year old Welsh Cob, McDuff. The two have shown successfully through Prix St George’s, scoring well into the mid 60s. McDuff is now 18 and semi retired. Other than McDuff, Lindsey started riding her half Arabian, half Swedish WB, Questt in 2011 at 3rd level, earning Lindsey her USDF Bronze medal, as well as the Shining Star youth sportsmanship award. Just the next year, she went on to 4th level and Prix St George’s, earning the USDF Silver medal. In 2014, at the young age of 16, Lindsey and Questt took on their first Grand Prix together and earned the final scores for a USDF Gold medal in one weekend!

Lindsey has had experience working with young horses, and started her own 3 year old Dutch WB, Finnomenon, by Negro, successfully showing through 2nd level with scores into the 70s.

Currently, Lindsey is working towards riding her Westfalen, Fine and Smart, in the 2020 Brentina Cup U25 Grand Prix. In 2018, the pair showed successfully at Intermediare 1 with an average score of 66%, putting them first in the nation for the Westfalen NA award, as well as Intermediare 1 Jr/YR.

Over the past 12 years, Lindsey has won many state, NW, and regional titles, as well as a handful of national titles.

Lindsey has ridden for many world class riders, including: Anne Gribbons, Christine Traurig, Arthur Kottas, Conrad Schumacher, Jeremy Steinberg, George Williams, Pam Goodrich, and FEI judge Kristi Wysocki. Currently, Lindsey trains under “S” judge Melanie Kessler.

Lindsey accepts students of all ages and levels, as well as horses of any kind- she’ll work with them all!
